Recovery Refining Gold
Our recovery refining gold business provides an economical and environmentally friendly precious metal recovery service. We receive scrap and separate the pure gold from the other precious metals and waste materials. Our recovery refining gold process also uses precious metal scrap like placer gold, dental gold scrap and gold metal foil that’s weighed and then smelted. A sample is removed for assaying, which is the process of measuring the gold content. At our recovery refining gold labs assaying is critical for assuring customers who send gold scraps to us that we fairly compensate them. For maximum accuracy, we use the Fire Assay and Inductively Coupled Plasma Spectrometry methods. The X-ray fluorescence method may also be used as needed by our recovery refining gold lab staff.
